Many graduate schools give away tokens of commemoration and appreciation to their graduating students. These students are adults, not adolescents, and they deserve recognition. Gifts to this group should reflect their investment and hard work spent on acquiring their degrees.
One popular graduation gift from the school is a presentation of a designated place on the campus that commemorates the graduating class. Usually, the students themselves fundraise in order to refresh or clean up an area of the campus. This opens up the campus to the graduates’ family and friends, and allows the school to give the outgoing students a thoughtful farewell before the summer arrives and they leave the campus for the last time as a student.
