Printable Graduation Gift Tags

One way to make sure that you keep your gift giving organized this season is to use printable graduation gift tags for your presents. Many schools have commencement services around the same time each April and May. If you work with lots of college age students, or have contact with their parents, you will probably be asked to attend a lot of different parties, and that means that you have a lot of graduation gifts to buy!

Computer software exists where you can make a sheet of graduate themed cards and gift tags. The software allows you to print sheets at a time. You can choose the right format and colors. Often, you can pull in graduation images such as caps and gowns, tassels, celebratory notes and miniature graduation announcements. Then, you can print these gift tags out for each of your gifts. You can find nice tag board or other heavy weight paper at your local office supply store.

Some people prefer to scrapbook and create gift tags out of paper art. Again, your computer software allows you to print cute images and icons in bulk. You can cut them out and affix them to your homemade gift tags, or even add them to your wrapping paper or greeting cards. They will add a nice touch to your gift, one that will not be forgotten by the graduate.

If you have several gifts to buy for several graduates, then consider purchasing something in a large quantity. Gift cards for local restaurants, grocery and drug stores, and gas stations allow you to make useful, easy to carry gifts for each graduate. In addition, you can consider purchasing a bulk lot of inspirational booklets or cards to give away. These wrap nicely because of their sturdy, square shape and give a nice message to your graduates. You can find these books in local bookstores, supermarkets, specialty gift shops and other retailers that celebrate life achievements through their merchandise. Just remember to purchase enough books to give one to each graduate in your life!

Finally, make sure to hand write the names of the graduates on each tag. If you are creative and decide to give each young adult an individual gift, the last thing you want is for someone to receive the wrong present! Make sure that each gift goes to the right person.
